International Graduate Internship Programme

The ESG Institute invites ambitious undergraduate and graduate students from around the world to apply for our International Internship Programme. You'll gain hands-on experience in ESG advisory and training, working alongside our senior consultants on real projects spanning sustainability, research, communications, and business development.


Key Responsibilities

Depending on your background and interests, you may work across the following areas:

Research & Analysis

Conduct market, industry, or regulatory research to support ESG advisory and training projects.

Business Development

Help prepare client presentations, proposal summaries, and briefing documents.

Marketing & Communications

Support blog content, social media outreach, and brand visibility campaigns.

Policy Support

Contribute to analysis of ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and regulatory developments.

Administrative Support

Help coordinate virtual meetings, maintain project databases, and track deliverables.

Innovation & Strategy

Take part in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to client advisory work.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a degree programme in sustainability, business, finance, economics, law, international relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently and within diverse, cross-cultural teams.
  • Proficiency with standard productivity tools; familiarity with data or sustainability reporting tools is a plus.
  • A genuine interest in ESG, sustainability, and advisory work.

CompensationUnpaid. At the discretion of management, success fees may apply for projects where your contribution directly supports measurable client outcomes.
